Text books and teaching material destroyed during repairs by a contractor at the Claxton Bay Junior Anglican School will be replaced by the Education Ministry.

Opposition MP Fazal Karim says, reports indicate that the contractor stored the items poorly during their work.

The question came up in Parliament today and was responded to by Minister Anthony Garcia.

A letter issued by OSHA to the Education Ministry, demanded the school’s immediate closure and demolition was ordered by an inspection officer on September 30th.
