CXC results to be released on or before Oct 15th

CXC has announced that it will release the results for its 2021 June/July exams for CAPE and CSEC on or before October 15th.

It says it is working assiduously to minimize the impact of the delays occasioned by the disruption of COVID-19 protocols on the logistical operations associated with the marking, grading and release of examinations results.

For the region, except in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, CXC plans to release the results to each country’s Ministry of Education before having a joint meeting with the Ministries prior to the release of results to candidates.

It notes that results will be released for candidates in St. Vincent on or before October 20th.

CXC says its team is “in contact with regional and international higher education institutions to communicate this timing to minimize the possibility of students being disadvantaged during the matriculation process.”

This year, due to effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 CXC exams were delayed by two weeks to allow more time for candidates to prepare for their exams.

The CSEC and CAPE exams began on June 28th and were completed on July 30th.
