Drivers will be able to use the Curepe Overpass by the end of February.
Works Minister Rohan Sinanan stated this yesterday as the construction entered another phase, with the installation of steel girders.
These are the main support structures that will facilitate the overhead bridge, and it spans 76 meters across the highway.
The highway at Curepe was reopened at 3am today, following this weekend’s girder installation.
Meanwhile, there is now a height restriction of 4.5 meters at the construction zone, which will continue until February 29th this year.
