Cuban charged for Venezuelan’s death


    A 42 year old Cuban national has been charged for allegedly strangling a Venezuelan woman to death in St. James.

    On October 22nd, police responded to a report of domestic violence at an apartment at Flag Staff, Long Circular Road, where they found the 32 year old woman lying unresponsive on a bed.

    The DMO subsequently pronounced her dead and ordered a post-mortem, with the cause of death being manual strangulation.

    The suspect is due in court today.
