Membership discount stores, such as PriceSmart, have been added to the list of businesses to remain closed under the COVID-19 regulations.
The change was announced this morning by the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs.
Three days after new regulations were unveiled, section 6 has been amended.
It now reads, “All retail establishments, including membership discount stores, shall remain closed to the public.”
There have been reports this morning of customers meeting closed doors at stores such as PriceSmart.
The updated public health regulations are in effect until May 23rd 2021.
