COVID-positive patient taken to state facility after several breaches of home quarantine


    A COVID-19 positive patient from Diego Martin has been placed in state quarantine after he breached home quarantine several times.

    According to the TTPS, the patient left his place of ordered quarantine in the St. Andrew/St. David County and frequented the St. George County where he has another residence.

    Following an operation involving police and health officials, the man was placed into the state facility to complete his quarantine.

    The TTPS is reminding that any breach of a quarantine order carries a penalty of up to $50,000 in fines and six months’ imprisonment.
