COVID-19: T&T records eight new cases


    Eight new COVID-19 cases have been recorded, taking the total number recorded since March 12th 2020 to 7,186.

    Meanwhile, four persons have been discharged from public health facilities and 13 community cases have recovered, taking total recoveries to 6,735.

    Deaths remain at 127 meaning there are 324 active cases.

    Of that, eight are the new cases, 25 are in hospital including two ICU patients, 63 are in step down facilities, 17 are in the care of the prisons and 211 are in home self-isolation.

    There are 220 persons in state quarantine facilities.
