COVID-19: T&T records 28 new cases


    T&T has recorded 28 new cases of COVID.

    In the daily update from the Health Ministry, it notes that the cases take the total number since the start of the pandemic to 6,261.

    Meanwhile, 28 patients have recovered from home isolation taking total recoveries to 5,559 and leaves active COVID-19 cases at 589.

    There have been no new deaths with the toll staying at 113.

    423 patients are in home self-isolation, 66 are in the care of the prison system, 44 are in hospital and 28 are in step-down facilities.

    There are 166 persons in state quarantine.
