COVID-19: T&T records 21 new cases, no new deaths


    21 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in T&T.

    According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, the new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the county medical officers.

    Meanwhile, 14 community cases have recovered, four persons have been discharged from public health facilities and there have been no new deaths, leaving active cases at 743.

    43 patients are in hospital, 22 are in step down facilities, 168 are in the care of the prison and 471 are in home isolation.

    300 persons are in state quarantine facilities.

    Since the pandemic started, T&T has recorded 6,725 cases, 5,861 recoveries and 121 deaths.
