COVID-19: T&T records 12 more cases


    12 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, including three repatriates and two cases from Tobago.

    According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, the new cases take the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic to 7,024 while recoveries now stand at 6,488.

    Deaths remain unchanged at 125 meaning there are 411 active cases of the virus.

    That includes the 12 new cases, 24 hospitalized patients, 39 in step-down facilities, 37 in the care of the prison system and 299 in home self-isolation.

    Meanwhile, 476 persons are in state quarantine facilities.
