COVID-19 deaths are now 30, following the announcement of another fatality by the Ministry of Health at 10am today.
It states the deceased was an adult male.
In addition, 46 more infections were announced this morning, pushing the country’s toll to 2,030.
Active cases are 1,293 with six very ill persons in the Intensive Care Unit and 13 patients in the High Dependency Unit.
Seven persons were discharged today, and total recoveries in T&T since the start of the pandemic are now 707.
It took 5 months and 11 days for T&T to record 1,000 COVID-19 infections, and just 12 days to record another 1,000.
