COVID-19 death toll increases to 107


    The COVID-19 death toll is now at 107, following the passing of an elderly male with pre-existing medical conditions.

    26 additional persons have also tested positive for the virus, including four recently repatriated citizens.

    Additionally, according to the Health Ministry’s daily update, five persons have been discharged from public health facilities and there are 55 more recovered community cases.

    There are now 1,241 active cases of COVID-19.

    This includes 62 persons in hospital, 31 in step-down facilities and 1,148 in self-isolation at home.

    Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 5,594 cases of COVID-19.
