Guns, ammunition and foreign currency have been seized as police arrested a Couva resident.
Early in the morning of Monday 9th November 2020, officers executed a warrant at a house along Lower Couva Road, Preysal, searching for arms and ammunition.
They allegedly found 72 shotgun cartridges, 78 rounds of 9mm ammunition, US$39,860, TT$23,500 and CA$900 which were all seized.
Officers also confiscated the man’s licensed firearms and ammo before taking him to the Four Roads Police Station.
The TTPS says charges are imminent.
