Coosal’s CEO & ex-Hand Arnold chairman to be added to TTCIC Business Hall of Fame

    Coosal’s CEO, Sieunarine Persad-Coosal is one of two persons to be inducted into the T&T Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s Business Hall of Fame.

    The Chamber says Mr Persad-Coosal began in the quarrying business at the age of 16 and is today a person who values his ability to make a difference in the lives of his employees and through charitable works.

    The other inductee is Osmond “Ossie” Carlyle Hale who receives the honour posthumously for his service in companies like Hand Arnold which he joined in 1946 and remained until his death in 1994.

    The T&T Chamber also announced the awardee for the Internationally Known…T&T Owned Company of the Year category.

    This award will go to Associated Brands Industries Limited, manufacturer and distributor of snacks, chocolate confectionery, biscuits and breakfast cereals.

    Among the portfolio it has built since 1974 are products like Sunshine Snacks, Charles Candy, Devon Biscuits and Universal Cereals.

    Three companies have been named finalists in the Business Technology category – Caribbean Airlines, Term Finance (Holdings) Limited and Vibrant Technology Solutions.

    Finalists in the sub-categories of Start-up Entrepreneur and Emerging Entrepreneur will be revealed on October 21st, 2019.

    The awards ceremony will be held on November 15th, 2019 at NAPA.
