Continued water disruption in North East Trinidad


    Parts of North East Trinidad remain without a pipe borne water supply at this time, due to a delay in the completion of works.

    According to WASA, a pipeline system upgrade and interconnectivity works were scheduled to be completed at midnight on Sunday.

    These are now expected to be completed by 6pm today.

    Areas affected include:

    • Sangre Grande Proper
    • Coalmine
    • Guaico
    • Manzanilla
    • La Horquetta
    • Omeara
    • Malabar
    • San Raphael
    • Greenvale
    • Carapo
    • Mausica
    • Maloney
    • Oropoune
    • Five Rivers, Arouca

    WASA says it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with water supply schedules.
