Construction ends on Freeport Todd’s Road Bridge

More than 500 households and the general public is set to benefit from the newly reconstructed B1/1 Freeport Todd’s Road Bridge.

That project began last year, and last December it was 50 per cent complete.

The bridge will be officially opened tomorrow by the Minister of Works and Transport.

The bridge works comprised the removal of the existing single lane Bailey bridge and construction of a new reinforced concrete structure.

Two lanes of traffic can now be facilitated on the bridge, as well as a sidewalk for pedestrians.
