The first step has been taken towards Tobago’s October Carnival – a committee has been put in place to plan the event.
According to the Tourism Secretary Tashia Burris, the committee is charged with crafting what this Carnival looks like.
Earlier this year, the island announced that it will be celebrating Carnival from October 28th to 30th 2022.
Secretary Burris believes the event has great potential to bring in much-needed foreign exchange.
The members of the Carnival Committee will be announced later this week.
