Collection drive for SVG ends; almost 600 metric tonnes of supplies sent


    Government’s national relief collection drive for St Vincent and the Grenadines has officially come to a close.

    This is according to an email from the National Security Ministry.

    The drive began on April 9th and saw which says the Galleons Passage made two trips to the island which has been impacted by eruptions of the La Soufrière Volcano.

    It carried almost 600 metric tonnes of supplies including water, canned foods, medical supplies, hygiene and sanitary products, personal protective equipment, mattresses, water tanks, buckets and animal feed.
