Citizens are being urged avoid using ‘PH cars’.
The practice has come under intense scrutiny, following the murder of 18-year-old Ashanti Riley, who was last seen getting into a ‘PH car’.
Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan spoke on the matter in the Senate this morning, where he urged persons to keep in mind that the practice is illegal.
Minister Sinanan says efforts will also be made to have PH drivers operate within a legal framework.
On Saturday, the Prime Minister raised questions about PH cars, and admitted that the State may not have a handle on who is operating vehicles in T&T.
