Changes to COVID-19 regulations announced by Prime Minister – Nov 21

    At a media conference on November 21st 2020, the Prime Minister announced several changes to COVID-19 regulations:
    – Hunting will be allowed until the regular end of the season. The season will NOT be extended. Registration will begin from Monday
    – Food will be allowed in casinos
    – Bars will continue to have take-away services only. However, the Finance Ministry has been asked to find $10m to treat with employees of bars and restaurants who lost jobs or have reduced salaries
    – Owners of bars and restaurants have been urged to utilize existing small business support
    – Public sector will be instructed to have no Christmas parties in 2020. Private businesses have been urged to follow suit
