A Cascade father has been granted $75,000 bail with a surety on the charge of cruelty to a child.
The man was arrested by officers of the Child Protection Unit on Wednesday 14th October 2020.
A minor reported to police that his father tried feeding him but he refused to eat, in the process, spilling food on the ground.
It is alleged that, while the child was cleaning the floor, a brown belt was placed around his neck by the accused who dragged him from the kitchen to the dining room.
The child also claims to have been kicked.
After appearing virtually in court, the accused has been granted bail on the condition that he has no contact with the boy.
