Persons arriving on certain Caribbean Airlines flights at the Piarco Airport today will be treated to a Carnival Welcome Ceremony.
The initiative is being spearheaded by Tourism Trinidad Limited, Caribbean Airlines, and the Airport Authority.
According to TTL, it will be “targeting international flights from 7:00pm until 9:00pm and the event venue will be immediately outside the Arrival Hall of the Piarco International Airport.”
It adds that “all passengers travelling on Caribbean Airlines flights into Port of Spain will be treated to an extra special warm welcome on arrival that will be symbolic of their overall visitor experience whilst in Trinidad for Carnival.”
Tourism Minister Randall Mitchell and the Acting CEO of Tourism Trinidad Limited, will also be on hand from 7:15pm to provide meet and greet courtesies.
