Barkeepers/operators hopeful of relaxed COVID-19 measures

There is hope from the Barkeepers and Operators Association that the COVID-19 restrictions on the food and beverage sector will be relaxed.

Bars and restaurants are currently prohibited from in-house dining but can sell items for take-away.

The Prime Minister last adjusted regulations on October 24th 2020 when he indicate that he would give another update in two weeks.

Ahead of the PM’s next media conference tomorrow at 2pm, the association says bars and restaurants are trying to come out of the economic downturn “better in the end”.

It is also calling for the public health inspectors and police to be allowed to enforce regulations to ensure full and proper adherence.
