Two suspects have been arrested after several reports of robbery and larceny in Sangre Grande, involving a dark Toyota NZE.
Four persons made reports to police:
• A 35-year-old proprietor claimed there was an attempted robbery at his home
• A cashier at a wholesale and retail business says she was robbed of three packs of cigarettes and $300 cash
• A 19-year-old cashier’s phone was stolen from the supermarket she is employed by
• A 57-year-old homeowner told police that bandits attempted to enter his home
The men, ages 20 and 23, were stopped by Sangre Grande police and a search of their vehicle was conducted.
They found two packs of cigarettes, one round of ammunition and a Samsung Note 10 Plus phone.
The men were taken to the police station and investigations are continuing.
