Olympic cyclist Njisane Phillip has been granted bail after appearing in court today charged with possession of marijuana, a gun and ammunition.
The items were allegedly found in a vehicle being driven by the 31-year-old on Saturday.
According to the Trinidad Express, Phillip was placed on $300,000 bail by San Fernando Magistrate Armina Deonarinesingh.
He was also reportedly ordered to surrender his T&T and US passports and must report to the Siparia police station every Wednesday.
The matters were adjourned to April 24th 2023.
