Tropical Storm Humberto has formed and is expected to batter parts of the Bahamas tomorrow.
According to the National Hurricane Centre, tropical storm conditions are expected within the warning area in the Bahamas by early Saturday.
A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for the northwestern Bahamas, excluding Andros Island.
Authorities however have discontinued a Tropical Storm Watch for parts of eastern Florida.
On the forecast track, Humberto is expected to move very near to the northwestern Bahamas on Saturday, and off the eastern coast of Florida this weekend into early next week.
Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 65 km/h.
Gradual strengthening is forecast, and the NHC expects Humberto to become a hurricane in two or three days.
