The Attorney General is expected to start off debate on the Firearms (Amendment) Bill, 2019, when the House of Representatives resumes today.
This comes after it was passed in the Senate on July 2, 2019.
The Government also expects to debate the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Bill, 2019 before the end of September.
It was passed on June 6th, 2019 and seeks to introduce a National Sex Offenders Registry.
Meanwhile, the Senate resumes on Wednesday 11th September, 2019 at 1:30pm, to complete matters on its Order Paper.
