96.8 kilos of marijuana was seized in Moruga on Tuesday morning.
Around 9am during a search of a bushy area, officers found several packages of what appeared to be marijuana.
Further checks and searches in nearby forested areas saw the discovery of six crocus bags containing rectangular packages wrapped in different coloured tape and stamped with different emblems.
No one was arrested.
This find follows two similar raids by the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) in the past three days as part of Operation Rex Fox.
On Sunday, officers seized 138 kilos from a Moruga man who was driving along the Uriah Butler Highway in Caroni.
Later that night, 55 kilos was found at a house in Moruga, with one man arrested.
