91 recruits graduate into coast guard

Ninety-one recruits have graduated into the coast guard.

Their Passing Out Parade was held yesterday at Teteron Barracks in Chaguaramas.

Commanding Officer Captain Douglas Archer urged them to always exemplify discipline, strength of character, honour, accountability, respect, professionalism and ethics.

He also reminded that it is the Coast Guard’s duty to ensure the borders are defended.

Meanwhile, National Security Minister Stuart Young calles on the recruits to uphold their integrity in the execution of their duties.
