73-year-old farmer charged after police find turtle, armadillo and iguana carcasses

    A 73-year-old Tobago farmer is due in court after police found the carcasses of a turtle, an armadillo and an iguana in a freezer.

    The Charlotteville man was arrested following the execution of a warrant at his home on November 13th.

    Officers found the carcasses in the freezer outside of his home.

    Given that the gaming season is closed, he was arrested and charged for being in possession of the armadillo and iguana meat.

    He was also charged with possession of an endanger species in relation to the turtle carcass.
