A stern warning is being made against littering, after three persons were charged for littering in Port of Spain within the last two days.
Among them is a 71 year old man, who was caught red-handed by police tossing a Styrofoam cup into a drain.
On Wednesday, two men were also charged along Charlotte Street.
All three were granted $500 station bail and will appear before a Magistrate on March 22nd.
The Port-of-Spain City Police is encouraging citizens to utilise public bins to discard properly of their garbage and waste.
