402 persons have been discharged from the care of the state, while 18 more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
This, following the Health Ministry’s announcement yesterday that a number of COVID-19 persons at step down facilities would be sent home to complete their recovery.
According to the Health Ministry’s 10AM update, there are now 820 active cases of the virus.
14 of those cases remain in step down facilities, while 118 persons are warded in hospital -six are in the Intensive Care Unit and eight in the High Dependency Unit.
670 patients have also been home quarantined under the continuous monitoring of the respective County Medical Officer Health (CMOH) offices, while 18 new patients will be processed for admission.
Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 1,429 cases of the virus.
