Four women have been arrested as police seized 17.8 kilograms of marijuana in Tobago.
During an anti-crime exercise conducted around 6:20pm on Thursday, officers went to a house located at Pumpmill, Scarborough where they executed a search warrant.
During this time, they found eight grams of marijuana on a kitchen counter-top, a rectangular packet containing 995 grams of marijuana concealed under some clothes, and 44 grams of marijuana concealed between a bed mattress and base.
Two brown boxes were also found with 9,529 grams and 7,308 grams of marijuana respectively.
The drug has a street value of $178,840.
The four women detained were occupants of the house in which the finds were made.
