32 due in court for breaching COVID-19 regulations


    Police have arrested 32 persons for breaching COVID-19 regulations at a house in Valsayn South.

    The group was held on Thursday 13th August 2020 around 11:30PM after officers arrived at the house where loud music was being played.

    According to the TTPS, 32 persons were inside in breach of regulation 2(a), which, at that time, restricted congregations to 10 persons.

    They have each since been granted $500 station bail and are due to appear in court on Monday 24th August 2020.
