A Penal man was slapped with a 30 day prison sentence for stealing a bike.
The bike, valued at $8,000, was stolen from the owner’s home in Gopie Trace, Penal on October 3rd, 2020.
34-year-old Vishal Chattergoon was arrested on January 6th, and the bike recovered.
Chattergoon pleaded guilty when he appeared before a Siparia Magistrate on January 8th charged with larceny.
