Three persons were arrested as police broke up three different gatherings between 10pm on Saturday and 3:30am on Sunday.
First, officers went to Rodney Street in Point Cumana, where they found a large group gathered along the roadway near a bar.
Three persons were arrested for disorderly conduct, use of obscene language as well as enquiries into the opening of the bar beyond the regulated time.
The officers also went to Waterhole in Cocorite, and Hudson Street in St James, where gatherings of approximately 60 persons and 40 persons respectively were observed and dispersed.
A music system was seized at Waterhole pending further enquiries, and both groups were cautioned about the COVID-19 protocols.
