A couple has been granted $25,000 bail for allegedly using counterfeit bank cards to purchase a refrigerator and withdraw money.
Detectives were first alerted to the suspected use of the cards at a furniture/appliance store and several Chaguanas ATMs.
Police made the arrests when two persons went to the store to follow up on purchases made including the $15,809 fridge.
28-year-old Sean Melville of Freedom Street, Enterprise and 23-year-old Danielle Glaude of La Pastora Road, Santa Cruz have been charged for obtaining goods and money by using counterfeit bank debit cards.
The couple has been granted bail by a Justice of the Peace and is expected to appear in court on April 1st 2021.
