Police are reminding that there is a zero tolerance approach to breaching public health regulations.
This comes after 21 persons were ticketed for failing to wear face masks in Sangre Grande yesterday afternoon into evening.
Meanwhile, 31 persons were charged for other various offences during a road check exercise.
Police are urging the public to follow COVID-19 regulations and guidelines including wearing masks, washing hands and social distancing.
Persons in breach of the face mask law are liable to a fixed penalty notice of $1,000.
