Keys to new homes have been handed over to 20 recipients at a ceremony in Talparo.
According to the Housing Ministry, those receiving the homes come from St. Joseph, Sangre Grande and areas within the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo region.
The distribution today is part of the ministry’s Housing and Village Improvement programme which utilizes an aided self-help approach.
It says recipients are encouraged to provide “sweat equity” and the finishing touches to their home.
