Two men were fined $2,000 each after pleading guilty to consuming alcohol in a public place during the State of Emergency.
39-year-old Darius Quamina-Nurse and 42-year-old Karlye Dixon Pantin were arrested on Sunday by officers on patrol in Arima.
Initially, they were each granted $2,000 station bail and ordered to appear in court on Monday.
During that appearance yesterday before Magistrate Avion Gill, both pleaded guilty and were given four months to pay their fines.
Failure to do so will result in three months simple imprisonment.
