2 arrested for Westmoorings break-in

Two Morvant men have been arrested and charged in connection to a break-in almost one year ago in Westmoorings.

One suspect was arrested and charged in March, while the second was held on September 11th and formally charged on September 14th.

Several other men from Morvant have also been identified as being part of a ring responsible for similar offences committed in the Western Division.

The home was broken into on September 19th with the perpetrators prying open the burglar proofing on the kitchen window.

The house had been ransacked and several items taken, including jewellery, a Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Wii, and a large quantity of US and local currency.
