14 new COVID-19 cases, 30 recoveries recorded


    There are 14 new COVID-19 cases, including one from Tobago and one repatriate, taking the total recorded since March 12th last year to 7,210.

    According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, there have also been 16 discharges from hospital and 14 recoveries for community cases.

    These take total recoveries since the start of the pandemic to 6,774 and, with deaths remaining at 127, there are 309 active cases.

    Of the active cases, 14 are the new positives, 23 are in hospital, 50 are in step-down facilities, 17 are in the care of the prison system and 205 are in home self-isolation.

    Elsewhere there are 249 persons in state quarantine facilities.
