COVID-19 deaths remain at 65, with no additional fatalities recorded this morning.
29 additional persons have however tested positive for the virus.
According to the Health Ministry, these 29 patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the County Medical Officers of Health.
Six persons have been discharged from public health facilities, and there have been 63 additional recovered community cases.
Recovered community cases refer to persons who were previously COVID-19 positive and in self-isolation at home and subsequently met the discharge criteria and were released from self-isolation.
There are now 2,038 active cases of COVID-19.
Of these, 84 persons remain hospitalized, including three in the Intensive Care Unit and nine in the High Dependency Unit.
Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 3,974 cases of COVID-19.
