Tobago has now confirmed a total of 298 COVID-19 cases, with three related deaths.
Meanwhile the Division held a briefing today, during which time the P1 COVID-19 variant was brought up.
The variant, also known as the Brazilian Variant, has been confirmed in Trinidad, however no updates from the Health Ministry have mentioned cases in Tobago.
Officials were asked if there were any signs of the variant on the island.
Dr Roxanne Mitchell, Acting General Manager of Primary Care Services at the TRHA, responded.
When questioned further, she says a request can be made moving forward.
