Tobago completes wildlife survey

In attempts to boost sustainable wildlife management in Tobago, a wildlife survey has been completed for the island.

Last week, a report was presented to the THA’s Division of Forestry by Professor John Agard and Dr. Luke Rostant of the UWI, St. Augustine Campus.

The survey of Tobago’s game species will provide baseline data on the status of wild animals and floral populations.

The findings will inform guidelines for hunting in Tobago as well as a national wildlife database.
