Tech: New iPads and Macbook Air could be unveiled this month

On October 30th, Apple will hosting an event in Brooklyn, New York and tech site The Verge believes it may have something to do with new iPad Pros.

Where in Brooklyn the event will be held is still unknown and the only other information sent in a media invites is a tagline “there’s more in the making”.

The Verge says it’s reasonable to believe Apple would present its new products in the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park after last month’s iPhone event.

The new iPad Pro is rumored to have slim bezels and Face ID, making it the first device outside the iPhones to have Apple’s facial recognition.

It’s also been reported that this year’s iPad Pro will switch over from Lightning to USB-C and could be available in 11- and 12.9-inch displays.

It’s also expected that Apple will announce its long-awaited successor to the MacBook Air laptop.

Bloomberg has reported that the laptop will have slimmer bezels than the Air and have a high-resolution Retina display.

It’s expected to slot in beneath the 12-inch MacBook as the company’s new low-cost laptop option.
