Suriname youngster wins ‘Songs of Kishore Kumar’ Competition

Twenty two year old Randy Baitali from Suriname won the ‘Songs of Kishore Kumar’ Finals held at the NCIC Divali Nagar last evening.

Anil Bheem who won the inaugural competition over 20 years ago took 2nd place, while Neeshad Sultan copped the 3rd spot.

103FM News understands that first place winner Randy Baitali has been coached by the ever popular Kries Ramkhelawan from Suriname.

 

Baitali walked away with a $50,000 cheque and bragging rights for at least a year.

NCIC Chairman Surujdeo Mangaroo told us that the competition may be held on an annual basis following the success of last night’s event.
