Samuels and Hope led Windies to 40 run win

Marlon Samuels and his off spin provided the turning point as the Windies beat India by 43 runs in their 3rd ODI.

The regional team batted first and made 283/9 as Shai Hope continued his fine form with 95.

India looked to be heading to victory at 220/6 with skipper Virat Kohli on 107 – but up stepped Samuels who bowled him.

Samuels went on to take two more wickets as India were bowled out for 240.

It’s the first time India have lost at home when Kohli has scored a century.

The series is now square at 1-1 after India won the first ODI and the teams tied the 2nd.
