Police: Nothing unique about Imbert phone recovery

There was nothing unique about the recovery of Adrian Imbert’s cell phone.

So says police spokesman, Acting ASP Michael Jackman who says in all his years in the service, phones have always been recovered.

Imbert, the son of the Finance Minister, had his device stolen after his vehicle broke down on the Eastern Main Road, Laventille.

Despite claims that the younger Imbert was given special treatment, Mr Jackman says standard procedure entails police requesting whatever help they deem necessary.
