Talks held to improve security in East Trinidad


    Plans to improve safety and security in Sangre Grande and Eastern Trinidad were discussed today between the Police Commissioner and businessmen from the area.

    They talked about strategies to enhance safety along the eastern costal borders, Carnival security plans, and placing CCTV cameras at tactical points entering and exiting Sangre Grande.

    There were also discussions on plans to improve the Matelot, Valencia and Toco police posts and stations.

    Members of the Sangre Grande Chamber of Commerce expressed their desire to work with the Commissioner and the TTPS to further reduce crime.
